Morette's Furniture is made right on the premises in Hillsburgh, Ontario. We use the best materials available to produce furniture in the traditional manner. Frames are made of hardwood, with double dowelled joints and screwed corner blocks. Except for some carved pieces, all legs are an integral part of the frame - no screw-on legs. All legs and other exposed wood trim are made from Canadian birch and maple hardwood, finished in your choice of stain. Since we make our own frames, we can also customize your particular piece. Length, depth, height of seat and other details can be modified at a reasonable cost. |

Morette's uses no-sag sinuous springing on all seats and most backs. We take care to correctly space and install springs, which are laterally secured. Front edges are finished with a rubber edge and inside arms and wings are constructed with woven jute webbing - you won't find cardboard in Morette's furniture. Frames are padded inside with high quality urethane foam, cotten felt and polyester fibre - no shredded or chipped foam. The outsides are lined and padded as well. Morette's also offers a variety of cushion choices from soft, firm foam, feather-down to dacron-wrapped foam. |
